Auto Accident

Auto accidents can be stressful.  If you’ve been injured due to the negligence of the other driver, you have a right to seek compensation for the following items:

  • Pain and suffering; past, present, and future
  • Medical expenses including future medical expenses related to your injury, if ongoing
  • Lost wages and/or loss of future earning capacity
  • Disability and disfigurement; mental anguish, humiliation and embarrassment
  • Loss of enjoyment of life

In addition, if your injuries have affected your relationship with your spouse or your children, they may have a derivative claim for loss of consortium.

Often the other driver’s insurance company will call you shortly after the accident in an effort to offer you a quick settlement for very little compensation.  Sometimes not even enough to cover all your medical expenses. Don’t settle cheap.

Even if you indicated to the investigating police officer that you were not injured in the accident, you still may have a right to pursue a personal injury claim.  Often times, you’re scared and you’re nervous. You’re car is wrecked and damaged. Your life is turned upside down. Many times, injuries do not manifest themselves until later in the day or commonly frequent the day or days after the accident.  Seek medical attention as soon as your injuries become evident.

The insurance companies have experts and attorneys on their side.  You need an experienced attorney on your side. There is no charge for an initial consultation and no fees are charged whatsoever unless there is a successful recovery, on a percentage basis.
